What Makes Your Firewood Business Easy?

The Hakki Pilke Firewood Processors Kent is designed to make your firewood business easy.  The machines take out the human effort by an automating majority of the processes. The Hakki Pilke Firewood processor cuts and splits firewood with minimal handling of logs.  The machine is divided into four parts each having a different function.

1.    Log Deck

A small excavator with grapple stacks logs on the along deck.  The machine then pulls log mechanically into a trough. Here the log is arranged into a position where the machine can cut it into firewood length pieces.

2.    Saw station

The log is cut by a hydraulically operated sawbar. When the log is cut completely, it is dropped into a position where the next machine can split into manageable pieces. In some machine, the cutting and splitting process is performed simultaneously.

3.    Split chamber

As the name suggests, the log of wood is split into 10-12 pieces.  The pieces are split as per client’s requirements or as per intended market.

4.    Outfeed

After the logs are split, they arranged in piles away from the processor where the delivery trucks wait. In some firewood systems, the firewood is cleaned before stocking in piles.  The output of Hakki Pilke Firewood Processors Kent depends on the size of the machine and the model.

More details about firewood processors

There is a misconception about firewood processors that they require large space which is not true. In fact, the size of the machine greatly depends on the species of logs that are processed.  The Majority of firewood processors uses hydraulic chainsaw bar while some use circular saw blade.
